JIS transports. According to the latest sequence information the JIS-supplier has to deliver parts directly to the right location at BBAC production line, within the defined time frame and with 100% quality. JIS transports have to follow defined timetables. In the event of an emergency situation, the BBAC material controller will contact the supplier and will request special deliveries/partial loads. The supplier has to nominate the forwarder for JIS transportations and is responsible for validity, reliability and performance of the forwarder. BBAC can put JIS-supplier into the MILKRUN project and takes responsibility for transport in these cases.
