Dark Fiber Transport definition

Dark Fiber Transport. CenturyLink’s unactivated optical interoffice transmission facilities, that are within CenturyLink’s network and connect CenturyLink switches or Wire Centers within the same LATA and State. Dark Fiber Transport does not include transmission facilities between the CenturyLink network and CLEC’s network or the location of CLEC’s equipment.
Dark Fiber Transport means optical transmission facilities, that Verizon has not activated by attaching multiplexing, aggregation or other electronics, between Verizon switches or wire centers.
Dark Fiber Transport shall have the meaning given in 47 C.F.R. § 51.319(e)(2)(iv).

Examples of Dark Fiber Transport in a sentence

  • Any existing UNE Dark Fiber Transport facility ordered before February 8, 2021 (“Dark Fiber Transport Embedded Base”) is grandfathered until February 8, 2029.

  • BellSouth will not provide line terminating elements, regeneration or other electronics necessary for AmTel to utilize Dark Fiber Transport.

  • AT&T’s election to reprice the UNE Dark Fiber Transport shall not preclude AT&T from later converting the UNE Dark Fiber Transport to a DFT arrangement available under a separate AT&T tariff or guidebook service.

  • After February 8, 2021, CLEC may not submit new orders for UNE Dark Fiber Transport on these routes.

  • CLEC shall convert the UNE Dark Fiber Transport Embedded Base to an alternate arrangement, or disconnect such UNE Dark Fiber Transport on or before February 8, 2029.

  • Any Dark Fiber Transport precluded by Section 8.1 above but purchased as a UNE before February 8, 2021 will continue to be provisioned through February 7, 2029 at the rates that apply under this Agreement, unless discontinued by Customer or terminated by Verizon for any reason permitted under this Agreement or any tariff referenced herein (e.g., for non-payment).

  • Applicable Law 47 U.S.C. § 251(c)(3) and and rules under 47 C.F.R. Part 51 Dark Fiber Transport activated by attaching multiplexing, aggregation or other electronics, between Verizon switches or wire centers.

  • Local Interconnection Trunks/Trunk Groups means the trunks that are used for the termination of Local Exchange Traffic, pursuant to iconectiv Technical Reference GR 317-CORE.

  • Self-service storage facility or "facility" means any real property designed or used for the purpose of renting or leasing individual storage space to tenants who are to have access to that space for the purpose of storing and removing personal property.

  • Marijuana producer means a person who produces marijuana in this state.

  • Processing facility means an establishment that prepares, treats, or converts tangible personal property into finished goods or another form of tangible personal property. The term includes a business engaged in processing agricultural, aquacultural, or maricultural products and specifically includes meat, poultry, and any other variety of food processing operations. It does not include an establishment in which retail sales of tangible personal property are made to retail customers.

  • Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System Management Program means a management program covering the duration of a state permit for a municipal separate storm sewer system that includes a comprehensive planning process that involves public participation and intergovernmental coordination, to reduce the discharge of pollutants to the maximum extent practicable, to protect water quality, and to satisfy the appropriate water quality requirements of the CWA and regulations, and this article and its attendant regulations, using management practices, control techniques, and system, design, and engineering methods, and such other provisions that are appropriate.
