Infaunal grab surveys. Where required, grab samples for infaunal and sediment assessment purposes will be collected, processed and stored strictly in adherence with the protocols described in the attached documents (Xxxxx grab processing SOP and Day grab processing SOP). Where not otherwise specified, in coarse / hard substrates (e.g. gravels, compacted sand) sampling will be undertaken using the 0.1m2 Xxxxx grab. In finer / softer substrates (e.g. mobile sand and mud) the 0.1m2 Day grab will be used. The EA will provide and deploy the appropriate sampling device for the substrate being sampled. Grab sample information and associated metadata will be recorded onto logsheets and these will be provided to the Customer in PDF format. Grab information and metadata will also be recorded digitally and provided as an Excel spreadsheet. Photographs of grab samples should be submitted in high resolution JPG format. All metadata should be recorded and submitted to XXXXX standards. Samples will be stored appropriately on board the survey vessel and will be delivered by the EA to the Customer’ storage facility in Lowestoft in large, labelled weather-proof crates capable of containing batches of samples.

  • Drug-Free Workplace Certification As required by Executive Order No. 90-5 dated April 12, 1990, issued by the Governor of Indiana, the Contractor hereby covenants and agrees to make a good faith effort to provide and maintain a drug-free workplace.
