Improper Occupational Assignment. Any claim of improper occupational assignment shall be subject to the provisions of this Section. If such a claim is not filed with the company within six (6) working days after such assignment becomes effective and the employee is notified in writing thereof, the employee shall not receive retroactive pay for any period prior to the date of filing such claim. If such claim is filed with the company within six (6) working days after such assignment becomes effective and the employee is notified in writing thereof, and if it is determined either by the Company or by arbitration in accordance with the established grievance procedure that the employee should have been in a higher occupation, the employee shall be paid a retroactive adjustment based upon the difference between the wages actually paid and the amount, determined as stated above, the employee should have been paid, from the date when the reclassification shall have been made effective.
