Common use of Illness in the Family Clause in Contracts

Illness in the Family. Sick leave, up to ten (10) days in any one (1) instance, may be used by a Deck Officer, after notifying the employee’s Port Captain’s office, when a member of the Deck Officer’s immediate family, as defined in Section 14.4, is ill or injured.
