Common use of Hours of Work; Approval of Schedules Clause in Contracts

Hours of Work; Approval of Schedules. Eight (8) hours of labor constitutes a legal day's work, and forty (40) hours constitutes a legal work week. No worker employed at any time by Contractor, or by any Subcontractor upon the Project, shall be required or permitted to work more than eight (8) hours in any one (1) calendar day or forty (40) hours in any one week, except as provided in Labor Code sections 1810 through 1815. All applicable laws and penalties pertaining to hours of work and overtime and related penalties are incorporated herein by reference.
