Basic Standard. 4 The Entity shall conduct the Work so that all laws and ordinances for the protection of the public and the 5 workers shall be obeyed fully both by the Entity and by all Subcontractors on the Site. 6 7 The Entity shall comply with the requirements of the California State Licensing Board and have a valid 8 contractor’s license, which is to be active and maintained in “Good Standing” throughout full completion of 9 the Project. 10 11 The Entity, and any used subcontractor shall be registered pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 prior to 12 executing any contract or engaging in any work, whichever is earlier, that involves the performance of any 13 public work contract that is subject to the requirements of Division 2, Part 7, Chapter 1 of the California Labor 14 Code, and shall maintain current registration throughout the term of this Contract. 15
Basic Standard. Contractor shall conduct the Work so that all laws and ordinances for the protection of the public and the workers shall be obeyed fully both by Contractor and by all Subcontractors on the Site. Contractor shall comply with the requirements of the California State Licensing Board and have a valid contractor’s license which is to be active as to the date of the receipt of project proposals and/or quotes and maintained in "Good Standing" from the receipt of project proposals and/or quotes throughout the Project. The class of license required is as indicated in the Project Index.
Basic Standard. Methods and procedures for payment shall minimize the time elapsing between the transfer of funds and disbursement by the grantee or subgrantee, in accordance with Treasury regulations at 31 CFR part 205.
Basic Standard. Except as provided in paragraphs (d) and (e) of this sec- tion, each recipient and subrecipient shall be paid in advance, provided it demonstrates the willingness and abil- ity to limit advanced funds to the ac- tual immediate disbursement needs in carrying out the JTPA program.

Basic Standard. Basic standard for teaching faculty with which the variables are measured shall be actual class contact hours that would be required during the regular academic year, whether spent in theory (lecture), guided practice (lab) or field-based experience. The number of contact hours for a course is unchanged regardless of the number of days or weeks in a quarter, the delivery modality, and enrollment. The final is considered part of the class.
Basic Standard. Basic standard with which the variables are measured shall be actual class contact hours, whether spent in lecture, recitation or laboratory; or counseling, Advising or Library/Media assignment.

Buyer shall indemnify and hold harmless Sellers (the “Indemnified Person”) from and against any losses, damages, expenses and liabilities (collectively “Liabilities”) or actions, investigations, inquiries, arbitrations, claims or other proceedings in respect thereof, including enforcement of this Agreement (collectively “Actions”) (Liabilities and Actions are herein collectively referred to as “Losses”), as they may be incurred (including all reasonable legal fees and other expenses incurred in connection with investigating, preparing, defending, paying, settling or compromising any Losses, whether or not in connection with any pending or threatened Action, and notwithstanding the absence of a final determination as set forth below as to a party’s obligation to reimburse an Indemnified Person for such Losses and the possibility that such payments might later be held to have been improper) to which any of them may become subject and which are related to or arise out of this Agreement or any breach of this Agreement.
