Hospitalization for stabilization. If a subject should become psychotic arrangements will be made to stabilize them and transfer them to the ED if necessary. Subjects hospitalized after a severe panic reaction will be suspended from the protocol until after recovery or stabilization, at which time the Clinical Investigators will carefully evaluate the subject’s emotional status. For those subjects engaged in an ongoing therapeutic relationship with a psychotherapist or psychiatrist, the subject’s outside therapists will be involved in the management of any psychiatric complications. For those subjects engaged in an ongoing psychotherapeutic relationship with the Clinical Investigator(s), the management of any psychiatric complications will be undertaken by them in their capacity as therapists.

  • Hospitalization In the event an employee is hospitalized overnight, the employee will have access to their EIB accrual at the first day of absence due to the hospitalization. Same day surgery, if requiring five (5) or more days of recovery, may also be paid from the employee’s EIB account.

  • Stabilization Neither the Company nor, to its knowledge, any of its employees, directors or shareholders (without the consent of the Representative) has taken or shall take, directly or indirectly, any action designed to or that has constituted or that might reasonably be expected to cause or result in, under Regulation M of the Exchange Act, or otherwise, stabilization or manipulation of the price of any security of the Company to facilitate the sale or resale of the Public Securities.

  • Post-Stabilization Services The PH-MCO must cover Post-Stabilization Services, as defined in 42 C.F.R. §438.114. The PH-MCO must limit charges to Members for Post-Stabilization Services to an amount no greater than what the PH-MCO would charge the Member if he or she had obtained the services through a Network Provider. The PH-MCO must cover Post-Stabilization Services without authorization, and regardless of whether the Member obtains the services within or outside its Provider Network if any of the following situations exist:

  • EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM The District’s Educational Assistance Program will be continued during the life of this Agreement. For purposes of this Contract, a person or affiliate who is on the Convicted Vendor List, the Discriminatory Vendor List, or the Antitrust Violator Vendor List may not perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under the Contract. The Contractor must notify the Department if it or any of its suppliers, subcontractors, or consultants have been placed on the Convicted Vendor List, the Discriminatory Vendor List, or the Antitrust Violator Vendor List during the term of the Contract. In accordance with section 287.1351, F.S., a vendor placed on the Suspended Vendor List may not enter into or renew a contract to provide any goods or services to an agency after its placement on the Suspended Vendor List. A firm or individual placed on the Suspended Vendor List pursuant to section 287.1351, F.S., the Convicted Vendor List pursuant to section 287.133, F.S., the Antitrust Violator Vendor List pursuant to section 287.137, F.S., or the Discriminatory Vendor List pursuant to section 287.134, F.S., is immediately disqualified from Contract eligibility.

  • Career Development The City and the Union agree that employee career growth can be beneficial to both the City and the affected employee. As such, consistent with training needs identified by the City and the financial resources appropriated therefore by the City, the City shall provide educational and training opportunities for employee career growth. Each employee shall be responsible for utilizing those training and educational opportunities made available by the City or other institutions for the self- development effort needed to achieve personal career goals.

  • Extended Health Care Plan (a) The Employer shall pay the monthly premium for regular employees entitled to coverage under a mutually acceptable Extended Health Care Plan.

  • Educational Assistance To qualify for reimbursement, an employee must be a regular employee upon enrollment. To be approved, the courses described below must be related to the employee's present position or career development:

  • – DISABILITY INCOME PROTECTION PLAN 14.01 Income protection is payable when a full-time employee is absent from work due to legitimate personal illness or injury which is not compensable under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act. It is understood that payment of income protection is for the sole and only purpose of protecting employees against the loss of income during time of such illness. Seniority and service will accrue and the Employer shall continue to pay its share of the premium for the benefit plans during the period of the income protection noted in this provision.

  • Family Medical Leave or Critical Illness Leave a) Family Medical Leave or Critical Illness leaves granted to a permanent Teacher or long-term Occasional Teacher under this Article shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Standards Act, 2000, as amended.
