HIRING, PROMOTION and TRANSFER. 7.1 The Company will post notice of all permanent vacant positions within the bargaining unit for a period of six (6) calendar days and agrees to consider an application from any bargaining unit employee desiring to apply to the vacant position. The Company retains the right not to fill any vacant position.

Any qualified internal applicants shall be granted an interview. Employees who have completed their probationary period and for whom movement to the vacant position.
