Disabled Employees If an employee becomes disabled with the result that he is unable to carry out the regular functions of his position, the Hospital may establish a special classification and salary with the hope of providing an opportunity of continued employment.
Related Employers If any member of the Employer's related group (as defined in Section 1.30 of the Plan) executes a Participation Agreement to this Adoption Agreement, such member's Employees are eligible to participate in this Plan, unless excluded by reason of an exclusion classification elected under this Adoption Agreement Section 1.07. New Employee 34.01(a) (i) Unless the Parties agree, in writing, to an extension of the probationary period, all Employees who work greater than twenty-four (24) hours per week shall be considered probationary for a period of up to three (3) calendar months following date of appointment to the University.
In-Training Employment 1. The Employer may designate specific positions, groups of positions, or all positions in a job classification or series as in-training. The Employer will document the training program, including a description and length of the program.
Continuing Employment Continuing employment means full-time or part-time employment which has no fixed end date or contingency upon which the employment contract will come to an end. All employment, other than fixed term employment and casual employment, is continuing employment.
Soliciting Employees The Executive promises and agrees that for a period of one year following termination of his employment, he will not, directly or indirectly solicit any of the Company employees who earned annually $50,000 or more as a Company employee during the last six months of his or her own employment to work for any other business, individual, partnership, firm, corporation, or other entity.
Regular Employee Seniority for a regular employee is defined as the length of the employee’s continuous employment (whether full-time or part-time) from the date of commencement of regular employment, plus any seniority accrued, while working as a casual employee of the Employer.
Project Employment 1. The Employer may appoint employees into project positions for which employment is contingent upon state, federal, local, grant, or other special funding of specific and of time-limited duration. The Employer will notify the employees, in writing, of the expected ending date of the project employment.
Eligible Employee For purposes of the SIMPLE 401(k) Plan provisions, any Employee who is entitled to make Elective Deferrals under the terms of the SIMPLE 401(k) Plan.
