HEALTH AND SAFETY DECLARATION. In terms of Regulation 5(1)(h) of the OHSA 1993 Construction Regulations 2014 (referred to as ‘the Regulations’ hereafter), a Contractor may only be appointed to perform construction work if the Employer is satisfied that the Contractor has the necessary competencies and resources to carry out the work safely in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act No 85 of 1993, as amended and the OHSA 1993 Construction Regulations 2014. To that effect a person duly authorised by the Tenderer must complete and sign the declaration hereafter in detail. Declaration by Tenderer

HEALTH AND SAFETY DECLARATION. All instruments authorised for return must be accompanied by a Health and Safety Declaration form, completed and signed. This form is enclosed in page 17 of this booklet.   • Health and Safety 16.01 The Employer, Union and the employees shall comply with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act where and when applicable. The Employer shall provide working conditions at all times which are not prejudicial to the health or efficiency of the workers. Employees are required to report to their Employer any unsafe work conditions, or violation of any safe work policies or procedures established by the Employer, or any violation of relevant safe work legislation.
