Grievance Files Clause Samples
The 'Grievance Files' clause establishes the procedures and requirements for maintaining records related to complaints or disputes within an organization or between contractual parties. Typically, this clause outlines what types of documents must be retained, the duration for which they should be kept, and who is responsible for their safekeeping. For example, it may require that all correspondence, investigation notes, and resolutions pertaining to a grievance be securely stored for a specified period. The core function of this clause is to ensure that there is a clear and accessible record of grievances, which supports transparency, accountability, and the ability to review or audit the handling of disputes if necessary.
