Common use of Graduate Teaching Assistant ("GTA") Clause in Contracts

Graduate Teaching Assistant ("GTA"). A GTA is a GA employed by the University, whose primary role is instructional. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, leading lectures and/or laboratory sections, grading, proctoring, tutoring, holding office hours, leading discussion groups, communicating with students regarding the academic subject matter of one (1) or more course sections included in the GTA's work assignment, or generally assisting in the delivery of curriculum.
