Common use of Full-Time Employees on Leave Without Pay Clause in Contracts

Full-Time Employees on Leave Without Pay. A full-time employee who would otherwise be entitled to a holiday but is on leave without pay will receive compensation for the holiday provided they have been in pay status for eighty (80) non-overtime or non-standby hours during the month, not counting the holiday. Compensation for holidays other than full-time employees during leave without pay will be proportionate to the time in pay status required for full-time employment. The employee must be employed before and after the holiday and for a period of at least twelve (12) calendar days during the month in addition to the holiday.
