Full-Day closure will be governed as follows. Less than 12 Month Employees  If the weather is questionable, employees must check the District website and/or call their immediate supervisor BEFORE departing for work.  If the District is closed for the day, DO NOT report to work.  Employees may have the option of using available personal leave or taking leave without pay for the day.  Employees may or may not be required to make up closure days depending upon the School Board’s decision.  If the Board decides to make up the school day(s) and an employee is required to work, the employee will be compensated for the additional day(s).

  • Venue; Governing Law Xxxxxx County, Texas, will be the proper place of venue for suit on or in respect of this Agreement.   • Interpretation and Governing Law This Agreement and any dispute arising hereunder shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California. This Agreement shall be construed as a whole according to its fair language and common meaning to achieve the objectives and purposes of the parties hereto, and the rule of construction to the effect that ambiguities are to be resolved against the drafting party shall not be employed in interpreting this Agreement, all parties having been represented by counsel in the negotiation and preparation hereof.

  • LAW TO GOVERN This Agreement is executed and delivered in the State of Texas and shall be governed, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.

  • No Rule of Strict Construction Regardless of which party may have drafted this Agreement, no rule of strict construction shall be applied against either party. If any provision of this Agreement is determined by a court to be unenforceable, the parties shall deem the provision to be modified to the extent necessary to allow it to be enforced to the extent permitted by law, or if it cannot be modified, the provision will be severed and deleted from this Agreement, and the remainder of this Agreement will continue in effect.
