Fixation of pay in the Revised scale. The scale of pay will be revised as follows and will come into force with effect from 01.08.2017. The Basic Pay in the existing scale (i.e. the scale of pay prior to 01.08.2017) on 01.08.2017 or on the date of option including the increments, if any, accruing on such date, in the existing scale and personal pay, if any, will be increased by merging DA at 39% of the Basic pay in the pre-revised scale as on 01.08.2017. The amount so arrived at will be increased by 12.5% (for Office Attendant to Special Grade Assistant). If such amount is a stage in the revised scale, the pay will be fixed at that stage and if not, at the next higher stage in the revised scale. Load factor for revising the pay scale of PTS to be fixed at 13.5%. If such amount is a stage in the revised scale, the pay will be fixed at that stage and if not, at the next higher stage in the revised scale. All appointments and promotions made on or after 01.08.2017 shall be deemed to have been made in the revised scale of pay.
