FIREPLACES AND SOLID FUEL BURNING APPLIANCES. 12.1 The inspector shall:
FIREPLACES AND SOLID FUEL BURNING APPLIANCES. It is understood and agreed that this inspection will be of readily accessible areas of the house or building and is limited to visual observations of apparent conditions existing at the time of the inspection only. Latent, concealed, future and hidden defects and deficiencies are excluded from the inspection. Equipment and systems will not be dismantled. Exclusions from the Inspection: The inspection and report do not address, and are not intended to address, the possible presence of or danger from any potentially harmful substances and environmental hazards including, but not limited to: • Radon gas* • Air and Water Quality • Pollutants • Lead paint • Asbestos • Mold • Urea formaldehyde • Toxic or flammable chemicals • Water and airborne hazards • Soil contamination or geological stability Also excluded are inspections of and reporting on: • Detached buildings • Elevators • Swimming pools • Spas, hot tubs or saunas • Playground equipment or any recreational or fitness equipment or facilities • Irrigation systemsUnderground tanks, xxxxx and springs • Septic systems • Underground piping (sewer, water, drain, gas, etc.) • Radio controlled devices • Burglar, fire or other alarm or security systemsFire and safety equipment or fire suppression systems • Sprinkler systems • Solar heating systemsCentral vacuum systems • Water softeners or water treatment systems • Freestanding appliances, including refrigerators • Pest infestation* *This Agreement pertains to the Home Inspection Only. These auxiliary services are provided separately from the Home Inspection. Maintenance and other items or issues may be discussed during the inspection and in the written report, but they are not part of the inspection. The report is not a compliance inspection or certification for past or present governmental codes or regulations of any kind.

  • Electrical appliance safety The Hirer shall ensure that any electrical appliances brought by them to the premises and used there shall be safe, in good working order, and used in a safe manner in accordance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. Where a residual circuit breaker is provided the hirer must make use of it in the interests of public safety.

  • Television Equipment Recycling Program If this Contract is for the purchase or lease of covered television equipment, then Contractor certifies that it is compliance with Subchapter Z, Chapter 361 of the Texas Health and Safety Code related to the Television Equipment Recycling Program.

  • GARBAGE DISPOSAL, RECYCLING, AND BIODEGRADABLE MATERIALS A. Concessionaire shall be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Concession Premises. Concessionaire shall ensure placement of all garbage and trash generated by the Concession Operation in designated containers and that said containers are emptied daily, or as more frequently required by Department, at a location within the Area designated by Department. Disposal costs from this latter location shall be borne by Department. Concessionaire shall provide such additional trash containers as may be required to keep the immediate Concession Premises clean at all times. The type of trash containers provided by Concessionaire shall be approved by Department prior to use.

  • Packaging Materials and Containers for Retail Sale Packaging materials and containers in which a good is packaged for retail sale shall, if classified with the good, be disregarded in determining whether all the non-originating materials used in the production of the good undergo the applicable change in tariff classification set out in Annex 4, and, if the good is subject to a regional value-content requirement, the value of such packaging materials and containers shall be taken into account as originating or non-originating materials, as the case may be, in calculating the regional value content of the good.

  • TOOL STORAGE 1. A company shall provide on all construction jobs in towns and cities, and elsewhere where reasonably necessary and practicable (or if requested buy the employee), a suitable and secure waterproof lock-up solely for the purpose of storing employees’ tools, and on multi-storey and major projects the company shall provide, where possible, a suitable lock-up for employees’ tools within a reasonable distance of the work area of large groups of employees.

  • Safety Glasses 10.3.1 Where a teacher is considered to be working in an “eye danger” area, the teacher shall receive a personal issue of standard neutral safety glasses which shall remain the property of the employer.
