EXPIRATION AND RENEWAL. 39.01 This Agreement shall be effective from August 22, 2020 and shall remain in effect until August 21, 2025, and thereafter from year to year, but either party may, not less than thirty (30) days or more than ninety (90) days before the expiry date or the anniversary of such expiry date from year to year thereafter give notice in writing to the other party of a desire to terminate such Agreement or to negotiate a revision thereof. Nothing in this Agreement is retroactive unless specifically provided. On the expiry date of this Agreement, as indicated above, if negotiations have not been completed, the Co-operative and the Union agree that this Agreement will be extended automatically until:
