Common use of Excess of standard shift Clause in Contracts

Excess of standard shift. For nurses scheduled for twelve (12) hour 24 shifts, time worked in excess of the standard shift will be paid a premium of $8.00 per 25 hour for all such additional time effective the first pay period of the contract. This 26 amount shall increase to $9.00 per hour effective the first pay period in July 2011.

Excess of standard shift. For nurses scheduled for twelve (12) hour 24 10 shifts, time worked in excess of the standard shift will be paid a premium of $8.00 per 25 11 hour for all such additional time effective the first pay period of the contract. This 26 12 amount shall increase to $9.00 per hour effective the first pay period in July 2011.
