The 'Evenings' clause defines the specific terms and conditions that apply to activities, services, or obligations occurring during evening hours. Typically, this clause will specify what constitutes 'evening'—for example, hours after 5:00 p.m.—and may outline any special rates, restrictions, or requirements for work or use of facilities during this time. Its core function is to clearly delineate expectations and responsibilities for evening periods, thereby preventing misunderstandings and ensuring both parties are aware of any unique provisions that apply outside of standard daytime hours.
Evenings. A nurse who works the second shift, including four (4) or more hours after 1500 hours, shall be paid a shift differential for all hours worked after 1500 hours of $2.35 per hour.
Evenings. A nurse who works the evening shift, a shift scheduled for the majority 13 of the hours of the shift occurring after 1500 hours, shall be paid a shift differential 14 for all hours worked on that shift of three dollars and fifty cents ($3.50) per hour.

A nurse shall receive fifteen percent (15%) of applicable pay if the nurse works more than four (4) years on night shift at Medical Center but less than eight (8) years. A nurse shall receive seventeen and one-half percent (17.5%) of applicable pay if the nurse works at least eight (8) years but less than ten (10) years on night shift at Medical Center. A nurse shall receive twenty percent (20%) of applicable pay if the nurse works at least ten (10) years or more on night shift at Medical Center.
Evenings. Except in positions which include all evening shifts or Nurses who request to work all evenings, evenings shall be assigned on an equitable basis over the rotation. This provision is not applicable to a casual nurse (except a casual nurse while in a Temporary Position). However, Casual Nurses may indicate their availability to work evenings.

A nurse who changes regular work shifts so as to lose the consecutive years night shift differential, but who returns to night shift for at least fifty percent (50%) of scheduled FTE hours within twelve (12) months, will again be eligible for the same level of consecutive years night shift differential and retain prior accrual credits toward the next consecutive years differential level, if applicable.
