Pregnancy and Parental Leave (a) Pregnancy/Parenting leave will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Standards Act, except where amended in this provision.
Pregnancy and Parental Leaves (a) Pregnancy and Parental Leaves shall be granted in accordance with the Employment Standards Act.
Pregnancy/Parental Leave Pregnancy/Parental Leave will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Standards Act as amended from time to time.
Maternity Leave and Parental Leave 8.9.1.1 For the benefits of the Employment Standards Act to apply during the statutory periods set out by the Act, employees must ensure that the appropriate certificate indicated in that Act is signed by a duly qualified medical practitioner and submitted to the appropriate Xxxx or Director.
Maternity/Adoption/Parental Leave a) In accordance with the Saskatchewan Employment Act an employee shall be granted maternity, adoption, and/or parental leave of absence without pay.
Parental and Pregnancy Disability Leave A. Parental leave will be granted to the employee for the purpose of bonding with their newborn, adoptive or xxxxxx child. Parental leave may extend up to six (6) months, including time covered by the family medical leave, during the first year after the child's birth or placement. Leave beyond the period covered by family medical leave and pregnancy disability may only be denied by the Employer due to operational necessity. Such denial may be grieved beginning at the top internal step of the grievance procedure in Article 30.
Family Medical Leave or Critical Illness Leave a) Family Medical Leave or Critical Illness leaves granted to a permanent Teacher or long-term Occasional Teacher under this Article shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Standards Act, 2000, as amended.
Commencement of Parental Leave Subject to subsection 24.07, Parental Leave in Addition to Maternity Leave, parental leave must commence no later than the first anniversary date of the birth or adoption of the child, or of the date on which the child comes into the actual care and custody of the employee.
Personal/Carer’s Leave a) Personal/carer’s leave is defined in accordance with Section 244 of the Act and includes paid sick leave (accrued under the AFPCS) and paid or unpaid carer’s leave (accrued under the AFPCS). Casual employees shall have no entitlement to paid personal/carer’s leave.
Personal/Xxxxx’s Leave 7.3.1 All full time employees shall be entitled to accrue paid personal / carer's leave on the basis of 10 days per year (or pro-rata thereof for any period less than one year). Part-time employees are entitled to a pro-rata benefit. Paid personal / carer's leave is cumulative.
