Common use of Entitlement to Benefit Clause in Contracts

Entitlement to Benefit. (a) A full-time employee on leave of absence without pay can maintain coverage under Article 24, for the duration of their leave, by paying the full cost of the premiums, providing there are no restriction in the carriers' contracts to the contrary. Other than in the case of leave granted pursuant to Article 20, and subject to Clause 24.3(c), the employee shall be responsible for the full cost of the benefit premiums effective the 26th day of unpaid leave.
