Entitlement to Rebate. Upon timely demand, non-members may apply to the Association for an advance reduction/rebate of the fair share fee pursuant to the internal procedure adopted by the Association.

Entitlement to Rebate. Upon timely demand, non-members may apply to OEA for an advance reduction/rebate of the fair share fee pursuant to the internal procedure adopted by OEA. All contracts of employment for employees hired into bargaining unit positions on or after March 1, 1997, and other employees obligated to pay a fair share fee (see Section 5.02) shall contain the following language: "This contract of employment is subject to the Master Contract between the BOARD of Education and the ASSOCIATION, the terms and conditions of which are incorporated herein by reference as though fully rewritten herein. By signing this contract, I represent that I have been notified of the fair share fee provisions contained in the Master Contract, that I will, if I elect not to become or remain a member of the ASSOCIATION, pay to the ASSOCIATION the prescribed annual representation fees and uniformly applied assessments for service and benefits to be conferred upon me by the ASSOCIATION as my exclusive bargaining agent during the term of my employment by the BOARD."

Entitlement to Rebate. Upon timely demand, non-members may apply to the ALSP for an advance reduction/rebate of the representation fee pursuant to the internal procedure adopted by the ALSP.
Entitlement to Rebate. Non-members may apply to the OEA for an advance reduction/rebate of the fair share fee pursuant to the internal procedure adopted by the OEA.
Entitlement to Rebate. Upon timely demand, non-members may apply to the MEA for an advance reduction/rebate of the fair share fee, pursuant to the internal procedure adopted by the MEA.
Entitlement to Rebate. Upon timely demand, non-members may apply to the Association for an advance reduction/rebate of the fair share fee pursuant to the internal procedure adopted by the Association. The Association agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless, the Board and its designees from any and all claims arising out of the dues deduction procedures set forth herein. In the event the Board is named as a defendant in any proceeding arising as a result of the Board’s implementation of the provision, the Board agrees to promptly notify the Association and cooperate with the Association and counsel selected by the Association.
