Employee Use in Emergencies. It is understood and agreed that in case of emergencies, when a sufficient number of qualified employees are not readily available to handle such emergencies, qualified personnel from any department of the bargaining unit may be used interchangeably between departments for the duration of the emergency.

  • Child or Elder Care Emergencies Leave without pay, compensatory time or paid leave may be granted for child or elder care emergencies.

  • Leave Without Pay for Personal Needs Leave without pay will be granted for personal needs, in the following manner:
