Emergency Leave Bank. An emergency leave bank shall be created with 30 days contributed by the District per year. Withdrawals from the emergency leave bank shall be limited to teachers who have exhausted family and personal leave, are not eligible for sick leave, and who have a catastrophic circumstance that is recognized by the Superintendent of Schools. The award of emergency leave day(s) shall be at the sole discretion of the Superintendent of Schools and will be limited to a maximum of 5 days per individual.
