Eligibility for Benefit Payments. 48 49 To be eligible for short-term disability benefit payments, you must be totally disabled; that is, you 50 must be unable to perform the material duties of your regular occupation or other appropriate work 51 the Company makes available and be earning 80% or less of your predisability earnings. You must be 52 under the continuous care of a legally qualified physician throughout your period of total disability.
