Common use of Drugs and Alcohol Clause in Contracts

Drugs and Alcohol. 42. (a) Owners warrant that they have in force an active policy covering the vessels which meets or exceeds the standards set out in the “Guidelines for the Control of Drugs and Alcohol On Board Ship” as published by the Oil Companies International Marine Forum (OCIMF) dated January 1990 (or any subsequent modification, version, or variation of these guidelines) and that this policy will remain in force throughout the charter period, and Owners will exercise due diligence to ensure the policy is complied with.
