Common use of District Teachers Clause in Contracts

District Teachers. Current teachers of the District who are selected for employment by the School are eligible for a one-year leave of absence from their employment with the District and may be eligible for two additional one-year leaves of absence upon mutual agreement between the teacher and the District. The status of any teacher in the District employed by the School will not be affected by such employment; however, the period of time a teacher is employed by the School will not be considered for purposes of calculating District employment time, District salary, or probationary time, or for similar purposes. At the end of three consecutive one-year leaves of absence, the relationship between the teacher and the District will be determined by the District.
