District Required Training Sample Clauses

District Required Training. The District may require a bargaining unit member to participate in training sessions and/or conferences. Such activities will be considered part of the bargaining unit membersregular work schedule and shall not result in a loss of pay or benefits.
District Required Training. The District will reimburse employees, or pay directly, for the tuition costs of any training for which the District requires the employee to attend.
District Required Training. Any training required solely by the District shall have all tuition and substitute costs (if any) paid by the District. The individual will be paid at the curriculum development rate if it is a District requirement and not a requirement to meet certification standards. Such training will be offered so that all members needing the training will have as many options as feasible regarding times to complete the courses. The District shall in a timely manner, notify all members of the need to take the training and the dates the classes will be offered. This is not intended to cover routine training in faculty meetings such as Student Discipline Plan updates.

The parties agree that any teacher required by the District to take training that is not required by the state for certification and/or endorsements related to the teacher's assignment shall be paid for by the District. B. The District will bear the cost of teachers who attend classes conducted on half-day in- service training day in first aid or student transportation training. C. In the event that a principal finds in a teacher's evaluation that required improvements are necessary, the District shall bear the cost beyond individual staff development funds of any specified training or program that the principal regards as necessary for the teacher to make the required improvement. D. The District shall bear the costs beyond individual staff development funds of any training or program detailed in a probationary teacher's specific plan for remediation. E. Teachers requested to administer medication or perform nursing services shall be provided training and shall have right to refusal without employer reprisal or disciplinary action. Employees must receive the training before they are authorized to deliver the service or medication. Such training will be provided as necessary on an ongoing basis.

District Required Training. Time spent in taking an ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ College course which is necessary for the performance of an employee's job and which the employee's supervisor directs him/her to take, with approval from the appropriate district vice president and the director of human resources, will be considered part of the employee's regular work schedule. Approval of such request shall be contingent upon the following conditions: 24.4.1 The employee has successfully completed the probationary period in that position. 24.4.2 The course is necessary for providing or improving district services. 24.4.3 Additional funds will not be required for substitute help. 24.4.4 No more than one course or four units, whichever is greater, can be taken in any one semester or term. 24.4.5 Two or more employees from the same work unit will not take classes at the same time. 24.4.6 The district will pay the enrollment fee and the cost of instructional materials including required textbooks. 24.4.7 The absence of the employee will not adversely affect the normal working operations of his/her department.

If the employee does not complete the training, or does not successfully complete the training, the employee will be responsible for the cost of the enrollment fee and instructional materials including required textbooks.
District Required Training. The district will provide release time for training during work hours for mandatory on-line trainings and for those employees required by their job description to maintain a first aid card. a. In cases where training is not available during work hours, the District will provide non-work hour training regarding first aid cards: i. When the District is requiring a classified employee (as identified in their job description or assigned duties) to obtain their first aid card by attending a training outside of their normal work hours, the District will provide wage compensation. ii. The District may provide exchange time (when requested) for those who attend first aid training outside their work hours who are not required to maintain a first aid card.

Related to District Required Training

  • Required Training For training that is required by the Agency, manager or supervisor, the Agency shall reimburse one hundred percent (100%) of all related necessary and legitimate expenses, including but not limited to tuition, books, travel expenses, travel time, and attendance time. When practical, the Agency will attempt to adjust the employee’s hours if the approved training activity is scheduled during the employee’s normal work hours.

  • Maintenance Training 16.8.1 The Seller will provide maintenance training for the Buyer’s ground personnel as further set forth in Appendix A to this Clause 16. The available courses will be as listed in the Seller’s Customer Services Catalog current at the time of the course. The practical training provided in the frame of maintenance training will be performed on the training devices in use in the Seller’s Training Centers.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • Technical Training The CAISO and the Participating TOs shall respond to reasonable requests for support and provide relevant technical training to each other’s employees to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the CAISO Controlled Grid and to comply with any NERC or WECC operator certification or training requirements. Examples of such technical training include, but are not limited to: (1) the theory or operation of new or modified equipment (e.g., control systems, Remedial Action Schemes, protective relays); (2) computer and applicator programs; and (3) CAISO (or Participating TO) requirements. The Parties shall enter into agreements regarding the timing, term, locations, and cost allocation for the training.

  • In-Service Training The District may require an assigned Therapist, at his/her own expense, to attend training deemed by the District to be necessary for performing professional services.
