Common use of DISABILITY INSURANCE PLAN Clause in Contracts

DISABILITY INSURANCE PLAN. During the term of this MOU, Management agrees to maintain a Disability Insurance Plan for active employees who are members of the Los Angeles City Employees' Retirement System, provided that sufficient enrollment is maintained to continue to make the plan available. The City's Joint Labor-Management Benefits Committee shall determine the benefits and provider of the plan. Enrollment in the Disability Insurance Plan is at the discretion of each employee. The full cost of the premiums shall be paid by the individual employees who enroll in the plan.
