DIRECT TRANSIT. Passengers, baggage and cargo in direct transit across the territory of a Contracting Party, not leaving the area of the airport reserved for such purposes, shall be subject to a simplified control. Baggage and freight in direct transit shall be exempt from customs duties and other charges.

DIRECT TRANSIT. Traffic in direct transit across the territory of either Party and not leaving the area of the airport reserved for such purpose shall, except in respect of security measures against the threat of unlawful interference, such as violence and air piracy and measures for the combat of illicit drug traffic, be subject to no more than a simplified control. Baggage and cargo in direct transit shall be exempted from custom duties, charges and other similar taxes.
DIRECT TRANSIT. Passengers, baggage, cargo and mail in direct transit will be subject only to a simplified inspection. Baggage and cargo in direct transit will be exempt from customs duties and other similar rights.
DIRECT TRANSIT. Passengers, baggage and cargo in direct transit on flights of the designated airlines of one Contracting Party across the territory of State of the other Contracting Party, and not leaving the area of the airport reserved for such traffic, shall at most be subject to a very simplified customs, boundary, sanitary and other control. Baggage and cargo in direct transit through the territory of State of either Contracting Party shall be exempt from customs duties, taxes and other duties. Customs procedures concerning the baggage and cargo in direct transit shall be established in accordance with the national legislation of States of the Contracting Parties.

  • Direct transport 1. In order for originating goods to maintain their originating status, the goods shall be transported directly between the Parties. 2. Notwithstanding paragraph 1, the following shall be considered to be transported directly from the exporting Party to the importing Party: (a) goods that are transported without passing through the territory of a non-Party; and (b) goods whose transport involves transit through one or more non-Parties, with or without trans-shipment or temporary storage in such non-Parties, under control of the customs authority, provided that the goods do not: (i) enter into trade or commerce there; and (ii) undergo any operation there other than unloading and reloading, repacking, or any operation required to keep them in good condition. 3. Compliance with paragraphs 1 and 2 shall be demonstrated by presenting the following documentation to the customs authority of the importing Party: (a) in the case of transit or trans-shipment, the transportation documents, such as the airway xxxx, the xxxx of lading, or the multimodal or combined transportation document, that certify the transport from the country of origin to the importing country, as the case may be; and (b) in the case of storage, the transportation documents, such as the airway xxxx, the xxxx of lading, or the multimodal or combined transportation document, that certify the transport from the country of origin to the importing country, as the case may be, as well as the documents issued by the customs authority or other competent authority that authorized this operation in accordance with the domestic legislation of the non-Party.

  • Direct Trunked Transport 7.3.2.1 Either Party may elect to purchase direct trunked transport from the other Party.

  • Tandem Transit Traffic 12.1 As used in this Section, Tandem Transit Traffic is Telephone Exchange Service traffic that originates on CBB's network, and is transported through Verizon’s Tandem to the subtending End Office or its equivalent of another carrier (CLEC, ILEC other than Verizon, Commercial Mobile Radio Service (CMRS) carrier, or other LEC (“Other Carrier”). Neither the originating nor terminating customer is a Customer of Verizon. Subtending End Offices shall be determined in accordance with and as identified in the Local Exchange Routing Guide (LERG). Switched Exchange Access Service traffic is not Tandem Transit Traffic.
