Differential Tuition Clause Samples

Differential Tuition. All faculty members and qualifying family members incurring charges for differential tuition (also known as "differential fees" and "differential pricing") shall receive a 25% reduction in differential tuition charges (in addition to the regular tuition waiver) to be paid by the College. In addition, all faculty members shall receive a 25% reimbursement for differential tuition charges to be paid by the Faculty Professional Development Fund.
Differential Tuition. A student who enrolls in a school with a differential tuition amount at any time in their career will pay their base rate under the Plan plus any differential. This includes the upper division tuition differential in the College of Arts and Sciences. The differential rate is subject to change year to year as approved by the Board of Visitors.

  • Differential Pay Section 1( A). Geographic Area Pay. Classifications C4115, C4116, C4207, C4209, C4211, C4213, C4215, C4221, C4223, C4225: Prevailing basic rates in specific geographical areas for employment of limited duration less than one hundred twenty (120) days will be approved. Employees paid at such rates will not be eligible for vacation, sick leave or holiday benefits. Such rates will be paid only for construction work.

  • Differential Differential is a salary allowance in addition to the basic rate or schedule based upon additional skills, responsibilities, hours of employment, or distasteful or hazardous work.

  • Differentials No evening or night differentials will be applicable for a person on flexible scheduling concepts unless some or all of the hours he/she works would have fallen within the differential period of 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. had the person not been on a flexible scheduling concept.

  • Bilingual Differential When formally assigned in the employee’s position description, an employee assigned to interpret to or from another language to English will receive a differential of five percent (5%) of base pay.

  • Shift Differential Pay SECTION 1: In addition to compensation provided by the wage schedule, employees working between the hours of 3:00 P.M. and 7:00 A.M. shall be paid a shift differential premium of $.45 (forty-five cents) per hour in addition to the regular pay for those hours. SECTION 2: Employees must work a minimum of 3 (three) hours in order for shift differential to apply.
