Demolition Phase. This phase shall commence with commencement of demolition on the site and shall continue until all demolition on the site is complete (the “Demolition Phase”), subject to extension as described in 2.1.2 below and with the exception noted below. During the Demolition Phase, demolition bridges and fencing shall be provided in accordance with the Requirements. Lighting shall be provided at the soffit of construction bridge decking to achieve a minimum level of ten (10) foot candles illumination measured at the pavement. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if demolition is conducted in phases, Tenant, after completion of demolition of any building(s), shall clear all demolition debris, remove the Demolition Phase bridges and fencing and shall grade and enclose the demolished portion of the site with a fence which shall be installed on the property line which is on a public right of way and in accordance with the requirements described in Section 3 herein. Additionally, lighting shall be installed on the fence to achieve a minimum level of ten (10) foot candles illumination measured at the pavement. The demolished portion of the site shall be kept free of litter.

Demolition Phase. The Demolition phase shall not begin until after Administrative/ Design Phase NTP has been issued and such time as an appropriate demolition plan (including submittals) and design for such activities has been approved by the Contracting Officer or their designated representative.

  • Preconstruction Phase The Preconstruction Phase shall mean the period commencing on the date of this CM/GC Contract and ending upon commencement of the Construction Phase; provided that if the Owner and CM/GC agree, the Construction Phase may commence before the Preconstruction Phase is completed, in which case both phases shall proceed concurrently, subject to the terms and conditions of the Contract Documents.

  • Demolition work (i) As of 1 March 2024 where Employees are directly performing demolition works that would require a demolition permit that allows the performance of such work, they will receive the amount of $9.70 per hour or the site allowance, whichever is the greater. This allowance will be adjusted annually in accordance with CPI (All Groups, Melbourne) movements measured in the twelve month period ending the previous December quarter effective as of 1 March 2025, rounded to the nearest 5 cents. (ii) As of 1 March 2024 where Employees are employed in connection with, and on work, with employees of demolition contractors (ie. working within the demolition zone and/or subject to the additional disabilities arising from that demolition), they will receive the amount of $8.70 per hour or the site allowance, whichever is the greater. This allowance will be adjusted annually in accordance with CPI (All Groups, Melbourne) movements measured in the twelve month period ending the previous December quarter effective as of 1 March 2025, rounded to the nearest 5 cents.

  • Construction Phase Fee Contractor’s Construction Phase Fee is the maximum amount payable to Contractor for any cost or profit expectation incurred in the performance of the Work that is not specifically identified as being eligible for reimbursement by Owner elsewhere in this Agreement. References in the UGSC to Contractor’s “overhead” and “profit” mean Contractor’s Construction Phase Fee. The Construction Phase Fee includes, but is not limited to, the following items: 9.1 All profit, profit expectations and costs associated with profit sharing plans such as personnel bonuses, incentives, and rewards; company stock options; or any other like expenses of Contractor.

  • Demolition The Lessor shall remove existing abandoned electric, telephone, and data cabling and devices, as well as any other improvements or fixtures in place, to accommodate the Government’s requirements. Any demolition of existing improvements that is necessary to satisfy the Government’s layout shall be done at the Lessor’s expense.
