Definition of Shift Hours. Day Shift shall be defined as those shifts where more than one-half of the scheduled hours fall between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Evening Shift shall be defined as those shifts where more than one-half of the scheduled hours fall between 4:00 p.m. and 12:00 p.m. midnight. Night Shift shall be defined as those shifts where more than one-half of the scheduled hours fall between 12:00 midnight and 8:00 a.m.
