Definition of Holiday Pay and Qualifiers. (The following clause is applicable to full-time employees only) Holiday pay will be computed on the basis of the employee's regular straight time hourly rate of pay times the employee's normal daily hours of work. In order to qualify for holiday pay for any holiday, as set out in the Local Provisions Appendix, or to qualify for a lieu day an employee must complete her scheduled shift on each of the working days immediately prior to and following the holiday except where absence on one or both of the said qualifying days is due to a satisfactory reason.
