Definition of Bargaining Unit Rights. The Board recognizes the SAEA as the sole and exclusive bargaining representative of all adult education programs morning and afternoon teachers and counselors who are employed during the regular school year as permanent or probationary teachers, including summer school teachers who are regular teachers during the regular school year. The unit excludes all supervisory and non-instructional personnel and substitute teachers.

  • Positions outside the Bargaining Unit (a) An employee may substitute temporarily in a position outside the bargaining unit for up to fifteen (15) months from the date of the assignment.
