Deductions from Sick Leave Accumulation. Absence on account of illness for less than one-quarter (1/4) of a day will not be deducted until a full day has been recorded in the work area over a one (1) month period. All other absences of less than a full day will be charged at either one-quarter (1/4) or one-half (1/2) day, whichever is next least to the time absent.

Deductions from Sick Leave Accumulation. ‌ Absence on account of illness will be deducted from sick leave accumulation based on actual time absent and calculated as a portion of the regular daily work hours for each employee. Usage of paid sick leave on each occasion of disability is limited to a period of one year.
