  • Death in Service 19.01 In the event of the death of a staff member, the Board shall pay to the staff member’s estate a death benefit equivalent in value to the staff member’s salary for the month in which the staff member dies, plus one additional month’s salary regardless of the month in which the staff member dies, but shall not exceed the salary payable from the date of death to the end of the contract of appointment.
