Applicable to Full-Time Employees An employee who qualifies under Article 16.04 and is required to work on any of the above-mentioned holidays will, at the option of the Employer, receive in addition to shift premium, if applicable, either;
Compensation for Holidays Falling Within Vacation Schedule If a paid holiday falls on or is observed during an employee's vacation period, he/she shall be allowed an additional vacation day with pay at a time mutually agreed upon by the Employer and employee.
TIME EMPLOYEES 61.01 Definition Part-time employee means an employee whose weekly scheduled hours of work on average are less than those established in Article 24 (Hours of Work) but not less than those prescribed in the Federal Public Sector Labour Relations Act.
Regular Part-Time Employees A regular part-time employee is one who works less than full-time on a regularly scheduled basis. Per Diem Employees Section 1. A per diem employee is one that works on a day-to-day basis in accordance with the provisions of this article. Per diem employees will not be guaranteed to work a specific number of hours or a specific number of shifts per time block.

Part-Time Employees (a) A part-time employee is an employee who is engaged to work less than an average of 38 ordinary hours per week and whose hours of work are reasonably predictable.
Transport of Employees When an employee, after having worked overtime or a shift for which he/she has not been regularly rostered, finishes work at a time when reasonable means of transport are not available, the employer shall provide the employee with a conveyance home, or pay him/her their current wage for the time reasonably occupied in reaching home.
Compensation for Holidays Falling on Scheduled Days Off 1. When a holiday falls on a full-time employee's regularly scheduled day off, the employee shall receive eight (8) hours of compensatory time.
