Common use of Daily and Weekly Hours Clause in Contracts

Daily and Weekly Hours. of Work (Full-time and Part-time) The following paragraphs and sections are intended to define the normal hours of work and shall not be construed as a guarantee of hours of work per day or per week or of days of work per week. The regular hours of work for all full-time employees will be seventy (70) hours in a pay period. The existing schedule with day shifts scheduled Monday to Friday will remain in effect, any altered schedules will be discussed at the Labour/Management meetings prior to implementation. If an employee scheduled to work a shift finds that he/she is ill and unable to work, he/she will phone in to the department supervisor as soon as possible.
