Criminal Record Checks. Employees shall be responsible for the entire cost of any background check required for initial employment or rehire. All costs for renewed criminal record background checks involving fingerprinting as required by law will be shared equally between the Board of Education and the employee provided that the employee obtains said background check at the Lorain County Educational Service Center utilizing the form designated by the Board of Education and provided further that the employee pays the Lorain County Educational Service Center for his or her half of the cost at the time he or she requests said background check.
