The 'Credited Hours' clause defines which hours of work are recognized and counted towards an employee's required or compensated time. Typically, this clause specifies the types of hours that qualify, such as regular work hours, approved overtime, or certain types of paid leave, and may exclude others like unpaid leave or unauthorized absences. By clearly outlining what constitutes credited hours, the clause ensures accurate calculation of pay, benefits, and compliance with labor requirements, thereby preventing disputes over time worked and compensation.
Credited Hours. All vacation will be calculated on a direct proportion basis for all credited hours without regard to the calendar year. Credited hours shall include all hours worked but shall exclude overtime, unpaid leave, disability and worker’s compensation.
Credited Hours. Except as otherwise provided herein, for purposes of computing longevity steps, seniority, vacation and sick leave under this Agreement, credit shall be given for all fully compensated hours, including paid leaves and call-back hours, subject to the following:
a. All hours for which a nurse has been released under Section 7.8 due to low census shall be credited hours, regardless of whether the employee is placed on standby; and
b. Paid standby not covered by Section 7.8 shall not be counted as credited hours.

Credited Hours.
(a) Jury duty time, PTO, holiday worked, funeral absences, military time and schedule change, which are compensated under appropriate provisions of this Agreement and non-compensable absences for Union Paid Time, and subpoenas, except when the employee is the plaintiff or the defendant or in a case involving the Company, shall be credited as hours worked in computing overtime and in determining days worked for sixth and seventh consecutive day application, except that, to avoid duplication, there shall be credited only eight hours plus allowance for preliminary and postliminary for any one calendar day.
(b) Holiday not worked but paid shall be credited in the same manner except for those employees who are normally scheduled to work forty (40) hours within the workweek excluding the holiday(s) scheduled off.

When vacation is taken during an extended work schedule, all scheduled work hours shall be credited.
(b) Holiday not worked but paid shall be credited in the same manner except for those employees who are normally scheduled to work forty-two and one-half (42-1/2) hours within the workweek excluding the holiday(s) scheduled off.
Credited Hours. For the purposes of wage rate progression, an employee shall receive one credited hour for each hour compensated or assigned in a pay period to a maximum of forty (40) credited hours within that pay period.
2. Compensated hours shall include all hours worked, statutory holiday hours, vacation, Paid Absence Allowance, W.S.I.B., jury duty and bereavement.
3. Assigned hours shall include hours for which an employee is absent due to Company or union business.
4. One month equals 173.2 credited hours (40 hours times 4.33 weeks). Eighteen months will equal 3118 credited hours. Thirty-six months will equal 6235 credited hours.
5. Credited hours shall be calculated on a weekly basis.
6. Each wage rate progression increase shall become effective at the beginning of the first pay period following completion of the required number of days of employment.
