The 'Special Consideration - Credited Hours' clause defines how certain hours worked by an employee are recognized or credited under specific circumstances that differ from standard working hour calculations. This clause typically applies in situations such as training, travel, or other non-standard work activities, where the hours may not be directly tied to regular job duties but are still counted toward total credited hours for pay or benefits. Special Consideration - Credited Hours. As an exception to premium payment for hours not worked and for the express purpose of compensating an employee who works an overtime opportunity on his scheduled day(s) off and has prescheduled vacation, jury duty or funeral absence on the sixth (6th) or seventh (7th) workday of the work-week, all hours worked or credited over forty (40) hours will be paid in accordance with the sixth (6th) and seventh (7th) workday principle.
