Quiet Hours. Quiet Hours. The quiet hours of the residence hall last from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. During the quiet hours it is prohibited to do anything that may disturb the quiet hours of residents of the residence hall in the residence hall and surroundings thereof.
Quiet Hours. Residents and their guests and invitees shall, at all times, maintain order and reasonable quiet at all times in residential areas. Loud, offensive, disturbing or objectionable noises, boisterous activities or conduct that unreasonably disturbs the ability to study, sleep or the enjoyment of a residential area by other residents and their guests (including unreasonable uses of televisions, radios, stereos or other electronic equipment, amplifiers, guitars, pianos, keyboards or other musical instruments, or computers) or unreasonably disturbs the surrounding neighbors is prohibited. Residents shall comply with all local rules and regulations relating to noise and nuisances.

Quiet Hours. The quiet hours are as follows: Sunday – Thursday 9 pm to 8 am Friday and Saturday nights 12 am to 10 am All times outside of quiet hours are deemed consideration hours. During consideration hours residents are expected to adhere to a reasonable and respectful level of conversation and visiting.
Quiet Hours. CURFEW—10pm, with lights out by 11. No one should stay up later than midnight on a school night. PLAN YOUR STUDY TIME CAREFULLY to meet deadlines.
Quiet Hours. Excessive noise at any time is not acceptable. The City of Ottawa Noise By-law (#2017-255) states that quiet hours are from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. on weekdays, and until 9 a.m. on Saturdays, and until 12 p.m. on Sundays. In all residences, “quiet hours” is defined as the period during which you may only engage in activities that do not prevent others from studying, resting, or sleeping. When using any type of sound equipment, you must respect the designated quiet hours and not disturb other residents. If you share a double room, you must use headphones when employing such equipment. Quiet hours during exam periods are 24 hours a day. Fees for Protection Services interventions may be charged. In emergency or urgent situations, HS may need to conduct noisy work outside of these quiet hours (e.g., running a fan to dry areas after a flood).
