Common use of Counting of Days Clause in Contracts

Counting of Days. Unless expressly specified herein, any reference to “days” shall mean calendar days. As used in this Agreement, “business day” shall be deemed to be any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or other day upon which banks in the state of California shall be permitted or required to close. To the extent the last day for any act under this Agreement is not a business day, then the last day for such act shall be extended to the next business day.
