Conferences and Meetings. 14.1 Approval Conferences sponsored in whole or in part by the Grantee using funding obtained through federal awards are allowable only if the conference is necessary and reasonable for the successful performance of the Federal Award. Grantee must use discretion and judgment to ensure that all conference costs charged to the federal grant are appropriate and allowable and must comply with the requirements in 2. CFR 200.432. Costs that do not comply with 2 CFR 200.432 will be questioned and may be disallowed.
