Indeed, based on the principle 'Horizon 2020 Open to the World', entities located anywhere in the world are also eligible to join the project consortium, subject to specific Horizon 2020 rules of participation. All three European legal entities shall be independent of each other within the meaning of Article 8 of Horizon 2020 Rules for Participation4. To be noted that in addition to the general eligibility conditions, specific requirements might be set for a given call. Please always check carefully the call text itself in the Horizon 2020 Funding & Tenders Portal5. Each project should clearly demonstrate the partner’s essentiality, complementarities, and added value in jointly addressing the topic. According to EC guidelines6, among all consortium beneficiary, one consortium member should be nominated as a Project Coordinator', who serves as the central contact point and represent the consortium towards the EC. The consortia members are free to choose/nominate who will take up this role7. In case there is more than one Indian participant in a given project it is advised that the Indian participants appoint among them a ‘Lead Scientific Coordinator', who can represent the Indian participants in the consortium vis-à-vis XxXX.

  • Composition of Board ‌ Should the Committee on Labour Relations, the Union Committee, and the senior official of the Union fail to settle any difference, grievance, or dispute whatsoever arising between the Employer and the Union, or the employees concerned, such difference, grievance or dispute, including any question as to whether any matter is arbitrable, but excluding re-negotiation of the Agreement shall, at the instance of either party, be referred to the arbitration, determination and award of a single arbitrator. Notwithstanding this, either party may choose to refer a matter to an Arbitration Board of three (3) members. Such arbitrator or Board shall be deemed to be a Board of Arbitration within the meaning of the Labour Relations Code of British Columbia. Where a matter is referred to an Arbitration Board of three (3) members, one (1) member is to be appointed by the Committee on Labour Relations, one (1) by the Union, and the third (3rd), who shall be the Chairperson of the Arbitration Board, by the two (2) thus appointed or, failing such appointment within two (2) weeks after either party has given notice to the other requiring that such appointment be made, the Chairperson of the Arbitration Board shall be appointed under the provisions of Article 11.   • Composition of Committee A Union/Management Committee shall be established for each Employer covered by this Agreement. The Employer and the Union shall each appoint a minimum of two (2) and a maximum of four (4) representatives to the Union/Management Committee. Where there are fewer than four (4) nurses employed at a worksite, then the number of Union and management representatives may be limited to one each with an alternate.

  • Definition of Qualifications a. In this Agreement, "necessary qualifications" in respect of a teaching position means that, in the professional judgement of the Superintendent of Schools, there is a reasonable expectation, based on the teaching certification, training, education and experience of a teacher that the teacher shall be able to perform the duties of the position in a satisfactory manner.

  • PRESERVATION OF CONTRACTING INFORMATION 2.27.1 The requirements of Subchapter J, Chapter 552, Texas Government Code, may apply to this Agreement and the Contractor agrees that this Agreement can be terminated if the Contractor knowingly or intentionally fails to comply with a requirement of that subchapter. If the requirements of Subchapter J, Chapter 552, Texas Government Code, apply to this Agreement, then for the duration of this Agreement (including the initial term, any renewal terms, and any extensions), Contractor shall preserve all Contracting Information, as defined by Section 552.003 of the Texas Government Code, related to this Agreement as provided by the records retention requirements applicable to the City pursuant to federal or state law or regulation, city ordinance or city policy, which record retention requirements include but are not limited to those set forth in Chapters 201 and 205 of the Texas Local Government Code and Texas Administrative Code Title 13, Chapter 7. Within five business days after receiving a request from the Director, Contractor shall provide any Contracting Information related to this Agreement that is in the custody or possession of Contractor. Upon the expiration or termination of this Agreement, Contractor shall, at the Director’s election, either (a) provide, at no cost to the City, all Contracting Information related to this Agreement that is in the custody or possession of Contractor, or (b) preserve the Contracting Information related to this Agreement as provided by the records retention requirements applicable to the City pursuant to federal or state law or regulation, city ordinance or City policy.

  • ADMISSIBILITY OF REPRODUCTION OF CONTRACT Notwithstanding the best evidence rule or any other legal principle or rule of evidence to the contrary, the Contractor acknowledges and agrees that it waives any and all objections to the admissibility into evidence at any court proceeding or to the use at any examination before trial of an electronic reproduction of this contract, regardless of whether the original of said contract is in existence.   • Rights of Teachers to Representation No reprisals of any kind shall be taken by the Superintendent or by any member or representatives of the administration or the Board against any aggrieved person, any party in interest, any member of the Association or any other participant in the grievance procedure by reason of such participation.

  • Incorporation of Administrative Code Provisions by Reference The provisions of Chapters 12B and 12C of the San Francisco Administrative Code are incorporated in this Section by reference and made a part of this Agreement as though fully set forth herein. Contractor shall comply fully with and be bound by all of the provisions that apply to this Agreement under such Chapters, including but not limited to the remedies provided in such Chapters. Without limiting the foregoing, Contractor understands that pursuant to §§12B.2(h) and 12C.3(g) of the San Francisco Administrative Code, a penalty of $50 for each person for each calendar day during which such person was discriminated against in violation of the provisions of this Agreement may be assessed against Contractor and/or deducted from any payments due Contractor.

  • EVENTS CONSTITUTING MATERIAL BREACH OF AGREEMENT The Applicant shall be in Material Breach of this Agreement if it commits one or more of the following acts or omissions (each a “Material Breach”):

  • Adoption of Subsequent Orders to Incorporate Terms That a State Mortgage Regulator, if deemed necessary under the laws and regulations of the corresponding Participating State, may issue a separate administrative order to adopt and incorporate the terms and conditions of this Agreement. A State Mortgage Regulator may sua sponte issue such subsequent order without the review and approval of Respondent provided the subsequent order does not amend, alter, or otherwise change the terms of the Agreement. In the event a subsequent order amends, alters, or otherwise changes the terms of the Agreement, the terms of the Agreement, as set forth herein, will control.
