Compliance with Disabled Veteran. Business Enterprise (DVBE) contracting goals is required under this Construction Services Agreement. In accordance with Education Code section 17076.11 the District has a DVBE participation goal of 3% per year of the overall dollar amount of state funds allocated to the District pursuant to the Xxxxx X. Xxxxxx School Facilities Act of 1998, and expended each year by the District. The District is seeking DVBE participation under this Construction Services Agreement. The Contractor must require Subcontractors to make a good faith effort to contact and utilize DVBE contractors and suppliers in securing bids for performance of the Project. Their efforts shall be documented on the DVBE Good Faith Effort Form attached as Exhibit “C”.

  • Compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act Contractor shall provide the Services in a manner that complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), including but not limited to Title II’s program access requirements, and all other applicable federal, state and local disability rights legislation.

  • Americans with Disabilities Act Compliance a. When the Project scope includes work on sidewalks, curb ramps, or pedestrian- activated signals or triggers an obligation to address curb ramps or pedestrian signals, the Parties shall:

Chapter 5, Subchapter 6, relating to fair employment practices, to the full extent applicable. Party shall also ensure, to the full extent required by the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended, that qualified individuals with disabilities receive equitable access to the services, programs, and activities provided by the Party under this Agreement. Party further agrees to include this provision in all subcontracts.

  • Compliance with Accessibility Standards All parties to this Agreement shall ensure that the plans for and the construction of all projects subject to this Agreement are in compliance with standards issued or approved by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) as meeting or consistent with minimum accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (P.L. 101-336) (ADA).

  • Compliance with Equal Benefits Ordinance With respect to the provision of employee benefits, Contractor shall comply with the County Ordinance which prohibits contractors from discriminating in the provision of employee benefits between an employee with a domestic partner and an employee with a spouse.

The DOE is the State of Hawaii's “state education agency” (SEA) and “local education agency” (LEA) for purposes of compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). All public schools, including charter schools, are part of and fall under the LEA. As such, the School shall comply with all applicable federal and State laws, rules, policies, procedures, and directives regarding the education of students with disabilities, including but not limited to Ch. 8-60, Hawaii Administrative Rules (HAR).
