Community Service Full-time Employees are encouraged by the Parties to engage in community service. Such service, if it be of a lasting nature, should be reported to the individual’s Head or Director, or University Librarian, as the case may be. Community service is seen as being beneficial to the full-time Employee and to the University, as well as to the wider community. Community service includes participation in activities and organizations outside the University where the full-time Employee’s academic, professional, and/or research interests and competencies form the basis for such participation.
Community Engagement The HSP will engage the community of diverse persons and entities in the area where it provides health services when setting priorities for the delivery of health services and when developing plans for submission to the LHIN including but not limited to CAPS and integration proposals. As part of its community engagement activities, the HSPs will have in place and utilize effective mechanisms for engaging families, caregivers, clients, residents, patients and other individuals who use the services of the HSP, to help inform the HSP plans, including the HSP’s contribution to the establishment and implementation by the LHIN of geographic sub-regions in its local health system.

Community Outreach The DeSoto County Sheriffs Office will, if necessary, engage in Steering Committee meetings to assess the immigration enforcement activities conducted by the participating DCSO personnel, and to ensure compliance with the terms of this MOA.
Bank Holding Company Borrower is not a “bank holding company” or a direct or indirect subsidiary of a “bank holding company” as defined in the Bank Holding Company Act of 1956, as amended, and Regulation Y thereunder of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.

Community Service Leave Leave of absence not to exceed five (5) days in any school year may be granted upon written application in advance for participation in civic or community activities. Such activities shall include, but not be limited to, service clubs, religious observances, charitable organizations, and political parties. Upon approval of such request by the Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources, salary deduction shall be limited to the substitute's pay for each day of such absences.
