Communication with Unit Members and Union. ‌ The written notice of layoff shall be provided to unit members and SEIU Local 1021 not later than sixty (60) days before the effective day of layoff. When more than one position is affected by layoff, the District shall call a meeting of affected members to inform them of their options and elicit their preferences.
